Dieter Samyn is born and raised in Belgium, as a graduate of the Hotelschool Ter duinen, after several internships at Michelin starred restaurants in France, Spain and Belgium, he started working for Alain Ducasse a 3 star Michelin chef, where he worked at Le Louis XV, Le Plaza Athenee, Spoon. From there he went to Peter Goossens, another 3 star Michelin chef located in Belgium, he worked with him for 4 years. Was awarded 2 times as best event caterer of Belgium. In 2013 he was awarded by the “Chaine des Rotisseurs” in Washington DC, shortly after he decided to join chef Bart at B Too.
Margarita Krivchikova A 2010 graduate of South Ural State University in Russia with a Bachelors degree in Economics & Management, Margarita joined the Belga team in 2010. She manages day-to-day business affairs, social media, accounting, as well as restaurant and PR tasks. With a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to perfection, Margarita ensures that our customers always leave with a smile. She appreciates all the cultural offerings here in the nation’s capital and enjoys dining out and trying new restaurants/cuisines.
Alex Flores Alex grew up in El Salvador working in kitchens such as at Cabana Restaurants, famous for their local food and entertainment. In 2000, Alex came to America to pursue a career in the culinary arts and quickly discovered his true love for Belgian cuisine when he joined the Belga culinary team in 2005. Alex is a positive force under fire, his passion for cooking shows in his colorful plates. When he is not cooking at work, he is roasting meats at home for friends and family, enjoying pupusas, or playing soccer with friends.
